5 Things to Do For Yourself: In 2016


With the new year right around the corner and New Year's Resolutions flying around like crazy, it's time to start thinking about things to do for yourself for 2016.

  1. Schedule catch up days throughout the year to give you set times to get caught up on things that just slip the daily to do lists. I'm going to write a whole post dedicated to the beloved catch up day I love it that much.
  2. Set obtainable resolutions that you actually want to stick with. Give them a timeline with clear measurements so you know when you've completed them. Losing weight is a terrible goal, but losing ten pounds by Valentine's Day is a much better one that will keep you focused and on track.
  3. Get ahead while you still can. Use your beautiful new planner to mark down important dates and things you always seem to do last minute (holiday cards anyone), and then work backward from the deadline to give you reminders months in advance so you don't get so behind throughout the year.
  4. Check something big off your bucket list. Whether it's taking that pottery class you've talked about for years or finally taking that big trip overseas, make an effort this year to finally turn one dream into a reality.
  5. Treat yo self. You deserve it!
