This Week's Most Loved #37

This week has been downright exhausting. I'm glad I'm at the tail end of it with a weekend free of events or responsibilities. It's just going to be me and my to do list! I've kept things pretty simple on the makeup front this week really only branching out of my routine for a different shade of eye shadow.

I'm still fully obsessed with the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer ($42) and I don't see an end in sight. It's the perfect light coverage while giving my dull skin a nice glow. I only like to apply this with my fingers as a brush or a sponge just don't have the same finish. Plus in the morning I'm just too lazy to blend with a brush when my fingers do just fine.

I haven't used a powder in ages, but lately there's just a little too much of a sheen to my skin on my chin and nose that I've brought back my once beloved Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder ($4.99) to calm down the shine a bit. There's nothing fancy about this powder, but it works.

My eyebrows are no longer going unchecked these days too. At least not as much as I've ignored them in the past. I've been using the OFRA Absolute Brow Pencil ($13) that came in one of my last Ipsy glambags. It's a smidgen on the dark side, but a light hand and small movements makes this a really simple product to use to fill in my untamed brows. Now I just have to find the courage to actual shape them into something beyond blobs on my face.

For a little fun I've been obsessed with these My Little Pony squishy toys that come in these mystery packs at places like Five Below. You can find them online but they're definitely cheaper in store. Alex and I spent a good twenty minutes trying to peek into the holes of the opaque packaging to make sure I got my two favorite ponies. Sure that kind of eliminates the point of mystery packs, but I wasn't going to take any chances. We were successful and they've kept me company at my makeup desk since. Who says you have to grow up?

What products have you been loving this week?

xoxo Kayla

My favourite product this week is probably the Sleek Ultra Mattes V2 palette, so many great shades for fall! :)

  2. The NARS Tinted Moisturiser looks so amazing! I've been loving my NYX matte bronzer this week as I always thought it was too muddy, but with a big fluffy brush it's stunning.
