Walk the Line

The only reason I even ended up in Sephora was due to my mom needing to get some clothing for our trip to Italy in the JCPenny the Sephora happened to be in. I had no intention of even walking into the Sephora, but who am I kidding? A makeup addict needs to get her fix. I had a few things in mind that I wanted to at the very least look at and before I knew it I was at the register swiping my card. Dare I call it a beauty blackout?

I've heard such good things about the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner ($20) that I had to give it a swatch. I compared it to a similar product by Tarte and the Stila one won hands down. It didn't bleed, was incredibly black, and took a bit of effort to get off my hand. Difficult to remove is something I look for in a good liquid eyeliner. You don't want that stuff sliding all over your face that's for sure. I've used it a few times since purchasing and still need to work at it to get a thinner line, but I completely love it!

I found myself at the Urban Decay counter eyeing up their 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils when I spotted the lip pencils. As I said in my This Week's Most Loved post I hadn't had any luck when it came to lip pencils. I swatched the 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil in "Manic" ($20) on my hand and it was definitely love at first swatch. So smooth and the perfect shade. It was in my hands and I was walking to the register immediately. The promised full review with swatches is still to come and worth the wait let me tell you.

At the register the lovely saleslady popped in a travel size of the 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in "Black Market" which had me all sorts of excited. Urban Decay really knows how to make a good pencil. All other companies really should take note.

Have you picked up any beauty goodies recently?

xoxo Kayla

    1. It's been a dream to use and has gotten me more comfortable with winged liner. I'm going to be writing a full review on it shortly!
