Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm

The awesome products just keep coming! I'm loving trying all my new goodies out and reporting back. I'm also trying to get into more individual product reviews. Not sure why they were few and far between, but they're going to be a lot more common in the future!

I picked up the Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm ($28.50) at Sephora about a month ago now and I can't believe how long I waited to get this. Silly, silly girl! I had been reading reviews for ages before I finally just bought it and boy am I kicking myself now. The amount of pesky makeup that could have been removed effortlessly if only I had this balm!

This stuff really does take the day off. And I mean everything. Eye makeup? Check. Foundation? Check. It doesn't have a scent, it leaves my skin feeling refreshed and not tight, and it's just a cool product to use. It starts off as a white solid but quickly turns into an oil from the heat of my hands. Then you massage it into your skin and start to look like a raccoon before you wash it all away. My skin feels like I had nothing on it after I rinse it off. It feels perfect and honestly makes me consider skipping the rest of my skincare it makes my skin feel so good. There is also a lot of product. you only need about a dime sized amount of product to clear off your entire face. Plus it has some really nice, heavy duty feeling packaging. I never bother with makeup wipes anymore as they just can't compete with how well this works! It's everything I want in a makeup remover and cleansing balm. You really need to try it for yourself.

Have you used a cleansing balm before?

xoxo Kayla

  7. I use the Body Shop cleansing balm and I like the stuff! Probably repurchasing because it's much cheaper than this one and I guess they're very similar :)
