This Week's Most Loved #23

This week. This week was something else and I'm more than glad it's over. I'm getting buried with work at my real-life big-kid job and there doesn't seem to be an end in site. I couldn't be more happy to be writing this weekly favorites post as it symbolizes that I survived that hellish week. I've been trying to mix things up a bit with my makeup routine to throw a little excitement into my otherwise work filled week.

I've finally started to use the "Toffee Crunch" palette from the LORAC Sweet Temptations Collection ($36). I originally picked up the foursome around Christmas time last year and split up the set for giveaway prizes and a gift to a friend. I saved "Toffee Crunch" for myself and am stunned at how lovely it is. I like the formula of these more than the LORAC Pro Palette and I haven't had any trouble with fallout like I do with the Pro one. They're buttery and have amazing pigmentation and staying power. The collection is no longer available where I picked it up or at the usual places, but you can find people selling it on Ebay for a bit more money. I definitely think it's worth it though if you're even remotely considering it.

I've also really been into my travel size of the Urban Decay 24/7 Velvet Glide-On Eye Pencil in "Black Velvet" (full size $20) that came in this month's Ipsy Glam Bag. Now I know what the hype is all about surrounding these eye liner. Nothing I've used before compares to how smooth, dark, and long lasting this eyeliner is. It's fantastic at tight-lining and everything else I've used it for thus far. Urban Decay has got me good once again.

In an attempt to get out of my "I don't like lip gloss" ways I've been consciously reaching for my NYX Butter Gloss in "Vanilla Cream Pie" ($5). Like I said in a recent review, this gloss still feels like a gloss in some ways, but lasts a lot longer and provides a nice color to the lips. I don't think I'm fully on the lip gloss bandwagon yet, but I'm definitely no longer against them.

What products have you been loving this week?

xoxo Kayla
