This Week's Most Loved #20

This past week has been all about getting out of my comfort zone and trying new things. I'm not entirely sure why the mood struck, but I definitely ran with it. I've been obsessed with my Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm in "Sultry" ($8.99). Although I posted the haul about it only yesterday, I've had it for a little over a week now and it hasn't left my lips. It's surprisingly creamy and moisturizing for being matte and a lip crayon. My tune has definitely changed over lip crayons. I'm on the bandwagon now and may even be in line to be the conductor. The color is bolder than I usually go, but still incredibly wearable and easy to apply on the go.

I've recently (finally) acquired the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer ($42). It was a long courtship that ended with me getting the shade "Finland". It's just the slightest tinge too light, but I'm probably the only one to ever notice. It's just lovely. It's the perfect coverage on days I want a natural coverage (which basically sums up spring and summer). I'm sure you'll hear loads more about this as I explore the many wonders of this beloved product.

I had originally written off this Eyetini Cordial Cream Shadow + Base in "Ambrosia" ($18) from last month's Ipsy Glam Bag, but I've given it an honest go this week and have really enjoyed it. I've been plopping some product onto my lids and blending it out lightly. It gives a lovely rose gold shimmer without being cakey or heavy. It's definitely not the most pigmented product and don't stand out crazy on the lids, but I've enjoyed it for the more simplistic look I've been rocking this week.

Finally I've been obsessed with wearing my Forever21 Cutout Geo Bib Necklace ($6.80) lately. I've steered away from a lot of bib necklaces because I have very prominent collar bones that make larger necklaces sit funny. Yet this beaut has been wonderful. It's a super interesting piece that has gotten me a lot of compliments and is easy to wear with a lot of different outfits. I wore it dressed down over last weekend and with a nicer dress for work this week. It's become a fast favorite.

What products have you been loving this week?

xoxo Kayla

  1. I recently jumped on the matte balm bandwagon too, they're so quick and easy to wear! Love the sultry color too, it's natural with a little sassiness.
