Review: March Ipsy Glam Bag

If you read my first impressions post on Ipsy's March Glam Bag, then you'll know I wasn't very pleased when I first saw what products I received. I'm usually very content with Ipsy, but I was not a happy camper. I technically only received four products (I know they say 4-5 products but I've never gotten four before) and one of which I was really not excited about. However I was quick to judge the bag as a whole and there have been a few redeeming products.

bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in "Get Ready"
At first I wasn't too excited about this lipstick. I blame it on my general discontent with the bag, but I though the color was a bit uninspiring and the size very tiny. After the first use though I was singing a different tune. The color is amazing on the lips and the small size kind of grew on me (get it?!). I wish I had a full size of it, but it's compact and convenient. I've actually even looked into other shades from this line I liked it that much.

Be a Bombshell Bora Bora Eyeshadow Quad
Another product I was questionable about at first, but it turned out to be really impressive. The pigmentation and color pay off is amazing. Like seriously amazing. The shades are a smidgen too bronzey for my liking but they blended well and are unlike anything I currently own. I'm also a big fan of the simple, yet effective packaging.

Chella Indigo Blue Eyeliner
I'll be the first to sing Chella's praises when it comes to brows, but this eyeliner was just awful. The color for one makes it a product I'd rarely find a reason to use, but the product itself just stinks. It has a felt tip applicator that is dry and a pain to work with. The color came out blotchy and uneven and I felt like I had to tug at my eyelids to get the thing to work. What a disappointment.

Klorane Smoothing and relaxing patches with soothing cornflower
By far my least favorite thing about this whole bag and I honestly never bothered to try them. I really don't like things like this and have no intention of using them. I'll be sure to give them to a friend or something so they get used, but they'll definitely not be used by me.

If you're an Ipsy subscriber, what did you think of the March Glam Bag? If you're not a subscriber, which product would you be interested in trying?

xoxo Kayla
