One Sweep Wonders

I'm definitely in a phase where I don't want to fuss over my eye shadow. I remember the days where I'd pay the most attention to my eyes, experimenting with colors and blending. I basically ignored the rest of my face, but my eye shadow was always done. These days I'm all about the one sweep wonders. Eye shadows that are perfect on their own, no fuss and no problems.

I've actually hit the bottom of my Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo in "Bad to the Bronze" ($6.99). There is still a lot of product on the sides of the little jar, but I was shocked when I saw the bottom. This shadow is the main one I reach for when I'm looking for simplicity. As I said in my "This Week's Most Loved #17" post, I've been using my Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo Metal in "Barely Branded" ($6.99) to help make me look more awake and widen up my eyes.

If I'm looking for a more shimmer I use NYX's "Fantasy" ($5). Still a solid neutral shade but with a bit more kick to it. Or there's LiSi Cosmetic's Satin Eyes Pressed Eye Shadow in "Nutmeg" ($6.90) which is on the darker side with a touch of shimmer. I can't exclude the Almay Intense I-Color Shimmer Eye shadow ($6.99). This trio is downright amazing, but for one sweep wonders the medium brown shade is a great option that lasts for ages.

What are some of your one sweep wonders?

xoxo Kayla

  2. I absolutely agree on the color tattoos! I really need to go out and grab a couple more; I only have the pomegranate one.

  3. One sweep wonders! I love that. Annabell (CA brand) has these roll on sparkly shadows that are good for that but the fall out kinda sucks lol.
I love all these colors and seriously want to try and color tattoos!! Both those colors look unreal!
