Four for the Dewy Look

Nothing excites me more than a dewy, glowing complexion. I understand the appeal of a nice, matte base, but I'm nuts about that radiant look. These four products help me achieve the perfect dewy look. Up first to get my skin prepped and glowing is my Benefit "That Gal" Brightening Face Primer (full size $29). This strawberry smelling light-wearing primer does wonders to my complexion. Immediately I see my skin brighten and look more alive. It provides the perfect base for my L'Oreal True Match Lumi Foudation ($12.99). Whenever I try another foundation I instantly want to return to this one. It provides a lovely subtle glow to the skin without looking oily or messy. The shade range is amazing and it matches perfectly with my skin.

The dewy look can't be achieved without a highlighter to bring the whole look together. I usually reach for one of these lovely options. Benefit's Watt's Up (full size $30) is super easy to use and provides a nice glow to my cheekbones. Just swipe the product across the cheeks and blend in with the fingers. I find it more subtle than theBalm's Mary-Lou Manizer ($24) which packs quite the punch. A little goes a long way and a light hand is key for the perfect candlelit glow.

What products do you use to achieve the perfect dewy look? Are you more into the matte finish?

xoxo Kayla

  3. I have the Watts Up (from the Sephora birthday gift thing) and I like it alright. Mine's pretty stiff so it's a bit of a pain in the finger to blend. I've used my friend's Mary-Lou once or twice and I really like it. I'll have to own it one day.

  4. Is the Lumi foundation good for dry skin? I swear by the Neutrogena Healthy Skin so am wondering if this one is similar.
