Evening Skincare Routine

My evening skincare is much more in-depth than my morning skincare routine. It's super important to wash away a day's worth of makeup and grime so I try my best not to get too tired and forget. First step is cleanser and I often choose between two options. If I'm looking for more of an abrasive facial cleanser, I reach for The Body Shop's Vitamin C Facial Cleansing Polish ($16.50). It has exfoliating beads in it, but it's still not as abrasive as a micodermabrasion scrub. If my skin is being sensitive (like it has been this winter) I use my REN Evercalm Gentle Cleansing Milk ($28). It doesn't strip my skin as much and smells interestingly enough like green tea. If I'm looking for a face mask I use REN's Invisible Pores Detox Mask ($34). It's quite drying so I don't use it very often, but it does wonders at clearing my skin of any pesky gunk.

After my face is washed the only toner I choose to use is my Body Shop Vitamin E Hydrating Toner ($13). I can find no fault with this stuff. It's affordable, and removes any remaining traces of my makeup. For eye cream it's The Body Shop's Nutriganics Smoothing Eye Cream ($21). A light, fast absorbing cream that isn't too heavy or leaves my under eye greasy. Every night I apply Origins High-Potency Night-A-Mins ($39.50) all over my face and let it sink in before I use Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Face Mask ($24) on any really dry parts on my skin.

Overall the process doesn't take to long and in the morning I'm left with hydrated plump skin that's ready to take on the day!

What products are in your evening skincare routine?

xoxo Kayla

  1. With all the make up I wear on game days I'm sure my skin could really use this! I just never have known where to start! :)

  2. I'm seriously interested in seeing this! I just recently got into skincare, so seeing other peoples routines is the best. My night time one is my favourite, can't wait to do a post on it.I've always wanted to try Origins. Glad to see someone else care about skincare too!! :)
