Holy Grails

I don't like to throw around the phrase "holy grail" lightly on this blog. It's a serious label given to only the products I'd run out and repurchase immediately if mine happened to go missing. However I feel safe in saying that these six products are my go-to's on a daily basis, my loves, my holy grails. The thing about these holy grails is that I've talked about them time and time again. So I'm not going to go in tons of detail about why I love them, I have post after post about that (which you can find in the product directory). Honestly I just wanted to put them all in one place where they can be a big ol' happy family.

theBlam's FratBoy ($21) still surprises me every time I sweep its incredibly pigmented peachy pink blush on my cheek. Plus I just love the name as it reminds me of my own "frat" boyfriend Alex. This will be the sixth post the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in “Vanilla” ($28) has been featured in on this blog. It could very well be the most talked about product on microscopebeauty.com. I can't get enough of it. One of the easiest products to use and one that I use almost daily, the Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo in "Bad to the Bronze ($6.99) was a great, inexpensive investment. I've loved my Benefit "That Gal" Brightening Face Primer (full size $29) since before I started this blog. It was actually one of the first reviews I ever wrote. I haven't found a primer to beat it yet.

I've never used a lipstick as feverishly as I've used MAC's "Syrup" ($15). It's practically gone and it will be the first lipstick that I've ever used up completely. It's also the first product I've ever purchased from MAC. It's the perfect "my lips but better" shade. L'Oréal's Voluminous Mascara ($4.19) has been with me since the dawn of my love for makeup. It's a mascara I keep coming back to, it's just so good!

What are your holy grail products?

xoxo Kayla

    1. Be sure to swatch the concealer on your skin. I thought I was going to be one shade and ended up being a completely different one.

  3. The Maybelline Color Tattoos and Nars Concealer are definitely holy grail status in my opinion!! I've been dying to try some stuff from The Balm, but I can't find it over in Ireland yet!

  5. 3 of these are also my must-haves! I've been using Voluminous for about 15 years now, and though I've dabbled in the DiorShows and others, I always come running back. I'm new to the NARS concealer, but have taken to it like a fish to water. And Bad to the Bronze is essential. It's gorgeous on its own and as a base for other colors. Great picks!

My holy grails are mostly in terms of skincare, but Sunday Riley Good Genes and Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil rank among them.
